Cathay Landmark

Cathay Landmark is a 212-meter-tall office building with 46 floors designed by architect Kris Yao, featuring a glass and steel exterior. Office spaces begin on the fourth floor and extend upward, while five basement levels provide parking and the lower floors house the Breeze Xinyi shopping center.

Construction of this building began in 2009 and finished in 2015, marking a turning point in how Taipei's financial district developed. The project was part of the broader transformation of Xinyi District into the city's modern business center.

The Breeze Xinyi shopping center occupies several floors within the building and reflects how people in Taipei enjoy shopping and spending time together. The space shows contemporary retail practices and leisure habits typical of modern Taiwan.

The building sits on Zhongxiao East Road Section 5 and is easy to locate within Xinyi District. The lower levels with the shopping center are open to visitors, while the office spaces above are generally not accessible to the public.

This structure ranks as the eighth tallest building in Taiwan and showcases the advanced construction techniques used in modern Taipei. Its prominence in the district's skyline reflects the level of development in this business area.
