Discovery Center of Taipei, Educational center in Xinyi District, Taiwan
The Discovery Center of Taipei contains multiple exhibition halls dedicated to presenting the urban development and transformation of the capital through multimedia displays.
The former Taipei City Archives building was transformed into the Discovery Center and officially inaugurated by Mayor Ma Ying-jeou on December 16, 2002.
The center features permanent exhibitions in the Taipei Impression Hall and City Discovery Hall that showcase the evolution of local traditions and metropolitan life.
Visitors can reach the Discovery Center by taking the Taipei Metro to City Hall Station, with clear signs guiding them to the entrance within the municipal complex.
The Dialogue with Time Hall presents an extensive chronological journey through Taipei's transformation from a small settlement to a modern metropolis.
