Description
The Huwei Hunan Martyrs Ancient Tomb is a burial site containing six graves arranged in a triangular pattern on a hillside. The gravestones are carved from stone quarried at Guanyin Mountain and sit near Zhongzheng East Road.
History
In 1881, six soldiers from Hunan Province who served in the Zhusheng Left Camp under General Sun Kai-hua were buried at this location. This burial marks an important moment in the area's military history during that era.

The gravestones were inscribed by fellow soldiers rather than professional stonemasons, reflecting the bonds between these men. This personal touch turns each stone into a testament of military brotherhood.
