Pryingulsky Park, Protected natural area in Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukraine.
Pryingulsky Park is a protected area in Mykolaiv Oblast spanning 3,152 hectares along the Ingul River valley, featuring granite outcrops, steppe vegetation, forest plantations, and water bodies. The park contains several distinctive rock formations that rise from the landscape.
The park was established in 2002 to preserve natural habitats and ecological systems in southern Ukraine. This designation reflected growing efforts to protect the region's environmental value.
The park contains the Sviato-Mykhailivskiy Convent and the Pryingulskiy Estate of the Tropin Family, showing how people built and lived in this region over generations. These structures blend into the natural landscape and reflect local building practices.
The park offers marked trails that lead through different sections and connect to natural rock formations and viewing points. Visitors should wear sturdy footwear since the terrain is uneven in places and some forest areas may be damp.
The park contains the largest artificial waterfall in Mykolaiv Oblast and more than 20 plant species found in the Red Book of Ukraine. This concentration of rare and protected plants makes it a significant refuge for local plant life.
