Kokorevs Palace in the Crimea, Noble residence in Sanatorne, Crimea

Kokorevs Palace is an early 1900s residence on the southern coast of Crimea featuring Renaissance and Roman architectural elements. The structure combines spacious rooms with extensive grounds that were originally designed as a private estate.

The palace was built in 1909 under architect Nikolay Krasnov for a Russian noble family. Following the 1917 revolution, its purpose and use changed dramatically.

The residence displays European architectural styles that appealed to Russian aristocracy of the early 1900s. The rooms and gardens reflect the tastes of a wealthy family who valued sophistication and international influences.

The site can be reached via the southern coastal road and has pathways leading through the gardens. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes as there are multiple staircases and uneven surfaces.

The wine cellar beneath the palace displays storage methods from its construction period and retains elements of the original structure. The park area surrounding the building holds plantings from the early 1900s that differ greatly from local vegetation.
