Wells Fargo Arena accommodates 16,980 spectators and serves as the central entertainment venue within the Iowa Events Center complex in Des Moines.
The arena, designed by architectural firm Populous, started its operations on July 12, 2005, with Tony Hawk's Boom Boom Huck Jam as its first event.
The facility hosts the Iowa High School State Wrestling Championships, Girls and Boys Basketball Tournaments, connecting local sports communities throughout the year.
The venue features 39 luxury suites, 20 loge boxes, 630 club seats, and The Fort whiskey bar on the Suite Level accessible to all ticket holders.
Starting July 1, 2025, Wells Fargo Arena will transform into Casey's Center, marking a new chapter in its role as Des Moines' primary entertainment destination.
