The Wolstein Center is a multi-purpose arena at Cleveland State University with flexible interior space designed for various events. The facility accommodates approximately 13,600 spectators for basketball games and up to 15,000 for concerts.
Construction began in 1989 and finished in 1991 as the main athletic venue for Cleveland State University. The building has served as a central event space for the university and the city since its opening.
The center maintains extensive programming throughout the year, hosting national touring concerts, professional wrestling events, and collegiate sports competitions.
The center has wide doorways and easy access from parking without steep slopes. Interior amenities including restrooms and snack bars at multiple locations make longer visits more convenient.
In 2021, the arena became a vaccination site for the region during a health crisis. The building proved its ability to shift quickly into emergency mode when needed.
