The Wyndham Hotel at Playhouse Square is a 14-story post-modern metal-tinged structure at Huron Road and Euclid Avenue. Its massing, window spacing and coloring were revised to echo the neighboring Halle Building, and the original round tower and spire were dropped. Fiber-optic lighting runs along the building and sidewalk.

The building was designed by RTKL Associates and opened in 1995 on the site of the former Euclid Point Building. This development was part of larger revitalization efforts that brought renewed life to the entire Playhouse Square district.

The hotel's ballrooms and meeting rooms are named after Cleveland theatres: the surviving Palace Theater, the Roxy (long demolished), and the Hippodrome (torn down in 1981). The names keep the building tied to Playhouse Square's theatre history.

The hotel sits in a central location near restaurants, theaters, and shopping areas that are within walking distance. Its position at a major street intersection makes it easy to navigate the area and access public transportation.
