Adam, Giant sequoia in Mountain Home Grove, California, US.

The Adam Tree rises 247 feet tall with a base circumference of 94 feet, making it the twenty-first largest tree on Earth.

Rancher Jesse Hoskins discovered and named this giant sequoia in 1884, selecting the name Adam from the Book of Genesis.

The Mountain Home Grove serves as a natural laboratory for scientists studying forest ecology and giant sequoia growth patterns.

Visitors need high-clearance vehicles to access Tub Flats Road, followed by a half-mile walk on an easy trail to reach the tree.

At 60 feet above ground, the trunk measures 16 feet in diameter and narrows to 7 feet at 180 feet in height.
