Alpine Freefalls, Water slide complex at Great Escape amusement park in Queensbury, United States
Alpine Freefalls presents two distinct water slides: Cliffhanger, a six-story speed slide, and Twisted Racer, a four-lane racing experience with enclosed tunnels.
The attraction opened on June 2, 2012, following an announcement made by Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & White Water Bay on September 1, 2011.
The Nordic-themed water slide complex reflects regional winter sports traditions through its design elements and overall structure configuration.
Riders need to measure at least 48 inches tall for Cliffhanger and 42 inches tall for Twisted Racer to participate in the water slides.
Cliffhanger features Skybox technology where the floor drops beneath riders, initiating an 80-degree descent at speeds reaching 32 miles per hour.
