Congregation B'nai Amoona, Conservative synagogue in Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Congregation B'nai Amoona is a Conservative synagogue in Creve Coeur housed in a modern building on South Mason Road. The facility serves approximately 800 families across the St. Louis area as a center for prayer, events, and religious activities.
The congregation was founded in 1882 when members separated from another synagogue to form an Orthodox assembly under Rabbi Arron Levy. Over time, this founding group became the Conservative synagogue that exists today.
The learning center hosts classes for all ages, where people come to study Jewish texts and traditions together. These programs shape how the community gathers and shares knowledge throughout the year.
The synagogue holds daily prayer services in the morning and evening and assists with planning life events like weddings and bar mitzvahs. A Judaica shop on the premises sells religious items and books.
The synagogue preserves a Czech Torah Scroll, a historical document carefully maintained by the community. This rare treasure sets it apart from other Jewish organizations in the region.
