EQT Plaza

EQT Plaza is a skyscraper in downtown Pittsburgh with 32 floors rising to approximately 430 feet (131 m) high. The building houses office spaces ranging from about 16,000 to 23,000 square feet (1,500 to 2,100 sq m) to serve different business needs.

The skyscraper was built in 1987 originally for Consolidated Natural Gas under the name CNG Tower. The building later changed hands and received its current name when EQT Corporation took it over in 2009.

The building displays Art Deco design features that shape its exterior and connect it to other notable structures throughout downtown Pittsburgh. This architectural language is visible throughout the surrounding area and defines the city's look.

The building is easy to locate in the business district and has good access by public transportation. The site is walkable and situated in an active downtown zone with many services nearby.

The building has been known by several different names throughout its history, previously called CNG Tower and then Dominion Tower. This naming history reflects the changing ownership and economic development of the downtown area.
