Oliver Building, Skyscraper in Downtown Pittsburgh, United States.
The Oliver Building rises 25 stories high and features stone and terra cotta elements covering its steel frame construction at Smithfield Street.
The architectural firm D.H. Burnham & Company designed and completed the Oliver Building in 1910 at a cost of 3.5 million dollars.
The structure represents early twentieth-century commercial architecture in Pittsburgh and received Historical Landmark designation in 1974.
The building contains 17 elevators and maintains a combination of office spaces on lower floors with hotel rooms from the 15th to 25th floors.
Following renovations in 2015, the upper levels transformed into a 228-room Embassy Suites hotel while preserving the original architectural elements.
