Mai Châu

Mai Châu spans across 520 square kilometers of valleys and mountains at 407 meters elevation, creating diverse agricultural landscapes in northwestern Vietnam.

Travelers can reach Mai Châu by taking a four-hour drive from Hanoi, with options ranging from public buses to private transportation services.

Local residents construct and inhabit elevated stilt houses made from bamboo and timber, designed to protect against environmental conditions.
