Sa'dah Governorate

Sa'dah Governorate is an administrative region in northern Yemen with mountainous terrain and elevations reaching 2,050 meters in its western areas. The landscape is divided into multiple administrative districts, with fertile valleys nestled between mountain ranges that support agriculture and settlement.

The region functioned as an independent area with its own governance and identity for centuries before Yemen's unification. When the country unified in 1990, the territory was formally established as a governorate within the new national administrative system.
