Ashgabat

This seven-hectare green space in the city center sits between Kuliyev and Azadi streets and Mahgymguly and Saparmurat Turkmenbashi avenues. The grounds feature numerous mature trees, walking paths, and different areas for visitors to explore.

The site began in 1890 as Officer Park with a Russian imperial assembly building for the nobility. It was renamed several times over the decades before becoming the space known today.

A central amphitheater hosts regular performances of classical, folk, and contemporary music that bring together residents through shared cultural experiences.

Several restaurants, cafes, and food stands are spread throughout the space, while dinosaur sculptures and covered pavilions provide shelter and entertainment. You will find what you need for a comfortable visit.

The 2014 reconstruction kept trees older than 100 years while adding modern facilities alongside them. This blend brings together different generations of people who use the space.
