Turkmenistan Cultural Centre, Cultural complex on Archabil Avenue, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
The State Cultural Centre encompasses a three-story structure of 15,000 square meters with a blue dioctahedral dome supported by five marble columns.
The center opened in 2007 under President Saparmurat Niyazov and underwent renaming in 2013 following a presidential resolution to remove Turkmenbashi reference.
The facility contains the National Library, State Museum with 166,000 exhibits, and dedicated sections for historical artifacts from Nisa, Merv, and Gonur sites.
Visitors can explore the museum galleries from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a lunch break between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM, except on Tuesdays.
The complex features autonomous systems, restoration laboratories, computer-controlled climate control, and displays an 820-kilogram meteorite among its collections.
