Gediz, Administrative district in Kütahya Province, Turkey
Located at an elevation of 817 meters, Gediz spreads across valleys and plains in the Aegean region of western Turkey.
The town relocated to its current position in 1970 after an earthquake destroyed the original settlement, which was known as Eskigediz.
