Cilandiras Bridge

Cilandiras Bridge is an ancient stone arch that spans across Banaz Creek, measuring about 24 meters in length. The curved structure rests on solid supports and has a narrow walkway on top where people crossed on foot.

This structure was built in ancient times when different empires and cultures shaped and passed through the region. The craftsmanship and building methods show it came from skilled workers who could handle the challenges posed by flowing water.

The bridge came about because communities needed to connect different settlements and trade routes across the creek. Today the crossing point still reflects how important such passages were to daily life in this region.

The best way to reach this bridge is by following marked paths near Alfaklar village in this area. The routes are easy to walk and lead directly to this historic crossing over the water.

Beside the bridge a small hydroelectric plant still operates, creating flowing water to see in motion. This added element makes the place special where old construction and current use exist side by side.
