Denizli Gondola, Gondola lift in Pamukkale, Turkey
The Denizli Gondola connects the city center with Bagbasi Hill over a distance of 1500 meters. The system uses nine support towers and 24 cabins to carry visitors uphill.
The gondola was opened in 2015 by Denizli Municipal authorities and marked a major moment for local infrastructure. The opening attracted senior Turkish officials from economy and tourism sectors.
The gondola provides access to Bagbasi Hill, which features traditional bungalow accommodations and outdoor recreation facilities for visitors exploring Turkish mountain life.
The ride takes about 10 minutes and carries visitors in modern cabins that hold several people at once. Good fitness is not required since you simply board and enjoy the views.
The route covers an elevation gain of roughly 1100 meters, with the lower station situated at about 300 meters of height. This makes it the longest gondola in Turkish Anatolia.
