Built in 1871 as a Baptist meeting house, the church served its congregation until 1977 before becoming part of the Franklin Township Historical Society.
The cemetery, established in 1854, contains gravestones dating back to 1841, documenting generations of local families and community members.
Located at 6510 South Franklin Road, the property spans 2 acres and includes the main church building, cemetery grounds, and a 1920s privy.
The Franklin Township Historical Society transformed the former church into a museum, preserving local artifacts and documents for future generations.
