Christ Church Cathedral, Indianapolis

Christ Church Cathedral is a church in English Gothic Revival style located on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis. It features white marble altars, high pointed arches, and numerous stained-glass windows displaying biblical themes throughout the interior.

The current stone structure was completed in 1857, replacing an earlier wooden church building that stood on the same central downtown location. This construction marked an important moment in the city's religious life and reflected the growing prominence of the congregation.
