One Indiana Square, High-rise office tower in downtown Indianapolis, United States
One Indiana Square is a high-rise office tower in downtown Indianapolis rising 504 feet (153 meters) across 36 floors. The structure features a distinctive light blue curtain wall design combined with an LED illumination system that lights up at night.
The building opened in 1970 as the Indiana National Bank Tower and held the title of Indiana's tallest structure. It remained the highest point in the state until OneAmerica Tower was completed in 1982.
The building displays an art collection featuring American artists born after 1834, a date reflecting the bank's founding year. Walking through the spaces, visitors encounter works that tell the story of the institution's values and era.
The tower is located on North Pennsylvania Street and features an eight-level parking garage for visitors. The surrounding streets and downtown location make it easy to find and access.
Severe winds with tornado strength struck the exterior in 2006, causing extensive damage that required a complete façade overhaul. The renovation essentially redesigned how the building appeared to the city.
