Hilbert Circle Theatre, Historic concert hall and theatre at Monument Circle, Indianapolis, United States.
Hilbert Circle Theatre is a Neoclassical building with roughly 1,786 seats at a central circle in Indianapolis. The interior combines white glazed ceramic tiles on the facade with red brick and draws from Greek and Pompeian styles in its decorations.
The building was constructed in 1916 according to designs by architects Rubush and Hunter under the name Circle Theatre. It marked a turning point in the city when it first screened sound films in Indianapolis in 1927.
The city's orchestra uses this hall regularly for performances, while visitors learn from special talk sessions held before concerts about how the music came together.
The venue offers multiple parking options around its central location and contactless payment systems at refreshment stands. Visitors can use the lounge before the show to relax and grab refreshments.
Only during intermissions of evening concerts does a special room open for supporters of the venue, where they receive complimentary drinks and networking opportunities. This creates an exclusive moment that makes the evening visit special.
