Palace of Parshuram, Archaeological site in Bogura District, Bangladesh
The Palace of Parshuram contains four separate building blocks surrounding a courtyard, enclosed within a rectangular boundary wall in Mahasthangarh citadel.
Excavations in 1961 revealed multiple layers of artifacts from different periods, including Pala-era terracotta plaques and East India Company coins.
Local traditions connect this archaeological complex to the residence of the last Hindu regional ruler, preserving the memory through generations.
The site stands 200 meters north of Mankalir Kunda, offering visitors access to ancient architectural remains and historical artifacts.
The excavation layers showcase three distinct periods - Pala, Muslim, and Colonial - providing evidence of continuous habitation through major historical transitions.
