Ribnitsa Park in Plovdiv

Ribnitsa Park features an artificial lake, several walking paths, bridges, and a water supply system connected to the Ribnitsa canal that flows through the grounds.

The park emerged from a former beef market site, with construction initiated by mayor Georgi Todorov and completed in 1937 under Bozhidar Zdravkov's administration.

Local artists from Plovdiv contributed multiple sculptures throughout the park during the mid-20th century, while an open stage for performances arrived in 2005.

The park maintains multiple entrance points, including direct access from a nearby roundabout, with public transportation stops and parking areas in close proximity.

An artificial lake system fed by the Ribnitsa canal creates a network of waterways throughout the park, with bridges connecting different sections of the grounds.
