Convento de San Pedro Mártir, Dominican convent in Toledo, Spain
The religious complex contains three distinct courtyards: Real, Silencio, and Naranjos, each featuring detailed architectural elements and stone construction throughout the building.
Fernando III founded the initial Dominican convent in 1230 at Huerta del Granadal, before its relocation in 1407 to houses donated by Guiomar de Meneses.
The sacristy and church, designed by Nicolás de Vergara el Mozo in 1587, demonstrate Spanish Renaissance architecture with three naves separated by Doric pilasters.
The convent now functions as the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences at the University of Castilla-La Mancha following extensive renovations in 1992.
The cloister Real, initiated in 1541 by Hernán González de Lara, features three complete stone floors with semicircular arches resting on detailed columns.
