Praia Canido

Praia Canido is an urban beach along the Galician coast with soft white sand and moderate waves that invite swimming. The shoreline stretches roughly 300 meters and offers space for sunbathing and water activities throughout the day.

The beach began as a fishing harbor where boats landed their daily catches and gradually transformed into a swimming destination. This shift from a purely working waterfront to a recreational area happened progressively over the past century.

The beach has showers, toilets, and trash bins for visitors, along with a few restaurants nearby and parking at the entrance. Arriving early in the morning or outside peak season helps avoid crowds.
