Os Muiños

Os Muiños is a white sand beach located in Sayanes on Spain's northwestern coast. The shoreline stretches about 120 meters with views of the Cíes Islands in the distance across the water.

The beach transformed from a remote natural area into a certified Blue Flag destination over several decades. This change reflects the region's growing role in coastal tourism along the Galician shore.

The name Os Muiños comes from the traditional water mills that once dotted this part of the Galician coast. You can still sense the connection to the region's milling heritage when exploring the area.

Free parking, showers, waste bins, and lifeguards are available to make your visit comfortable and safe. Plan your visit outside the peak summer season if you prefer a quieter experience.

The beach is divided into two sections that serve different visitor preferences simultaneously. This arrangement allows both traditional and naturist swimmers to coexist peacefully on the same shoreline.
