Plage de Grenoble

Plage de Grenoble is an urban sand facility in the Vigny Musset district that features sports courts and leisure areas. The site provides space for volleyball, soccer, frisbee, and other sand games.

The facility opened in 2003 through a partnership between the AD2S Association and the city of Grenoble as France's first permanent urban sand venue. This groundbreaking project showed that such facilities could succeed in an Alpine city.

The beach brings people together for sand sports and outdoor leisure throughout the year. The variety of activities creates a community space where visitors come to play and spend time outdoors with others.

The site is easily accessible by public transit near tram line A. It is best visited during the warmer months when all facilities are fully open and operational.
