Basilique Saint-Joseph de Grenoble, Minor basilica in central Grenoble, France.

Saint Joseph Basilica is a church building in central Grenoble with a spacious nave and a tower that rises above the surrounding rooftops. The interior features colored windows and contains a notable organ from the early 20th century.

A first chapel at this site was built in 1697 on royal orders and stood outside the city walls at that time. The current basilica was constructed in the 1920s as a replacement building.

The stained glass windows by Louis Balmet show the Holy Family and Saint Joseph as protector of the faithful in this diocese. These colorful panes fill the interior with religious imagery that speaks to visitors about local devotion.

The basilica is easily accessible from the street since it sits in the central part of the city. Visitors can enter and move around the interior without difficulty during open hours.

The organ was installed in 1943 and later underwent complete restoration to meet modern sound standards. This thorough work returned the instrument to full working condition and restored its musical quality.
