Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary

The Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary extends across 607 square kilometers of mixed dry deciduous forests, riverine zones, and grasslands in western Satpura Range.

The sanctuary received its protected status in 1982 under the name Dumkhal Sanctuary, specifically designated for sloth bear conservation before expanding its scope.
