Tašlihan, Archaeological site in Stari Grad, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The stone walls and foundations of Tašlihan reveal the layout of a square building measuring 47 meters on each side with a central courtyard.
Built between 1540 and 1543 by Ottoman Governor Gazi Husrev Bey, this caravanserai served as a marketplace and accommodation for merchants until a fire in 1879.
The structure incorporated both commercial and religious functions, featuring shops on the ground floor and a small mosque supported by pillars above the courtyard.
Recent excavations conducted during the Hotel Evropa renovation have exposed original foundations that visitors can examine alongside information panels explaining the site layout.
The caravanserai distinguished itself from other inns in Sarajevo through its lead cupolas and integration with the adjacent Gazi Husrev Bey's Bezistan.
