Xiling Yangtze River Bridge

The Xiling Yangtze River Bridge spans 1118 meters across the Yangtze River with a main span of 900 meters and reaches a height of 187.5 meters.

The construction of this steel bridge commenced in December 1993 and reached completion in August 1996, marking a new era for transportation in the region.

This bridge connects the northern towns of Taipingxi and Letianxi with Sandouping on the southern bank, strengthening the social bonds between communities.

The bridge surface measures 18 meters in width and accommodates two lanes of traffic in each direction, facilitating transportation between regions.

Located 50 kilometers upstream from Yichang's urban center, this gravity-anchored suspension bridge stands near the Three Gorges Dam.
