Lok Ma Chau Garden

Lok Ma Chau Garden is a scenic viewpoint in Yuen Long District with landscaped pathways winding through native plants and flowering species. From here, visitors look out across the Sham Chun River toward the mountains in the distance.

The area became part of the Frontier Closed Area in 1951, established as a buffer zone with restricted access to control immigration movements. This designation shaped how the region developed for several decades.
