Tai Fu Tai Mansion, Historic mansion in Yuen Long District, Hong Kong.
The mansion features a traditional Chinese architectural layout with two courtyards, three halls, and side chambers arranged in a symmetrical configuration.
Built in 1865 by the wealthy Man Chung-luen, who received the title of Tai Fu from the Qing Dynasty emperor for his accomplishments.
The building incorporates Chinese design elements with granite blocks, grey tiles, and ceramic decorations from the Shiwan pottery tradition.
Visitors can explore the mansion daily between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, except Tuesdays and major Chinese holidays.
The mansion displays European influences through its Rococo-style carvings, colored glass windows, and geometric patterns in its balustrades.
