宋国故城

The Ancient City of Song lies on open ground with visible remains of walls, houses, and government buildings from multiple periods. The site spreads across a large area where visitors can walk among foundation outlines and wall fragments that outline the layout of this historical settlement.

This was the capital of the Song state from around 1100 to 286 BCE, when the kingdom fell to the Qi state. The long period of habitation left multiple layers of settlement that help archaeologists understand changes over centuries.
