The Plaza de Toros features a circular arena with a 45-meter diameter and concrete structure supported by 56 radial porticos reinforced with metal bracing.
The Plaza de Toros opened on September 2, 1976, with a performance featuring toreros Francisco Rivera Paquirri, José María Manzanares, and Pedro Gutiérrez Moya.
During the San Antolín Festival, the bullring presents performances by established toreros and holds traditional Spanish bullfighting events throughout the season.
The facility contains eight sections that accommodate 1,200 spectators each, with three access points per section and medical facilities including an operating room.
The venue received its name 'Campos Góticos' through a public telephone voting system in 2009, winning with 107 votes against other proposed names.
