Oval Lingotto

Oval Lingotto is an indoor arena in the Lingotto district featuring 20,000 square meters of column-free open space with extensive glass surfaces for natural lighting. The venue can accommodate up to 8,500 visitors and offers multiple entrances along with ample parking for various events.

The venue was built in 2005 specifically to host speed skating during the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. This project marked a turning point in the city's sports infrastructure and demonstrated Turin's capacity to create modern competition facilities.

The building reflects contemporary Italian design through its steel and glass structure, integrating modern architecture into Turin's industrial past. This approach shows how sports venues can merge with the city's evolving character.

The arena is easy to reach by car with 3,300 parking spaces and several entrance points available throughout the site. The flexible infrastructure allows different configurations depending on the type of event being held.

The electrical and water supply infrastructure features connection points every 8 meters throughout the space, enabling quick reconfiguration for different exhibition and event formats. This technical design makes it one of the most adaptable multifunctional venues in the region.
