The museum preserves centuries of religious artifacts that document the evolution of Catholic traditions and practices in the Catania region.
Each exhibition room presents different aspects of religious art, from medieval religious paintings to ceremonial objects used in local worship.
The museum opens Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM, with additional afternoon hours on Tuesday and Thursday from 3 PM to 6 PM.
From the museum's panoramic terraces, visitors observe Mount Etna and the Baroque architecture of Catania's historical district.
