Kobe College is a private women's university in Nishinomiya, Hyōgo Prefecture. The campus covers roughly 35 acres (14 hectares) and features Mediterranean-style buildings with ivory walls and characteristic roof tiles in Okadayama.
Two Congregational missionaries founded the institution in 1875, making it the first higher education establishment for women in West Japan. It received official university status only in 1948.
