Ichinoseki City Museum

The Ichinoseki City Museum features multiple exhibition rooms displaying regional artifacts, historical documents, and cultural objects from the Iwate Prefecture.

Established in October 1997, the museum emerged as a central institution for preserving and documenting the historical development of the Ichinoseki region.

The institution maintains collections spanning archaeology, local traditions, and artistic expressions that represent the heritage of Ichinoseki and surrounding communities.

Located at 215-1 Okino in Genbikei-cho, the museum welcomes visitors from Friday through Sunday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

The museum coordinates with the Iwate-ken Hakubutsukan-tō Renraku Kyōgikai association to facilitate cultural exchange programs across the Iwate Prefecture.
