Museum of Stones and Kenji, Biographical and mineralogical museum in Ichinoseki, Japan.

The Museum of Stones and Kenji features exhibits about author Kenji Miyazawa alongside mineral specimens from the Iwate Prefecture region of Japan.

The museum occupies the site of the former Tohoku Stone Crushing Plant, where Kenji Miyazawa worked as an engineer in 1930 to produce limestone powder.

The exhibits connect Miyazawa's literary works with geological elements, demonstrating his deep understanding of nature through manuscripts and mineral collections.

Located three minutes from Rikuchu Matsukawa Station, the museum charges 300 yen for adults and 200 yen for students, while children under junior high school enter free.

The facility includes the House of Sun and Wind, containing a mineral exhibition room with specimens like ulexite and a large ammonite fossil display.
