House of Mishima Lunar Calendar Publisher

The house displays the Mishima-goyami calendar, Japan's earliest printed calendar featuring kana characters to help ordinary people read dates and seasons. The way this calendar was designed shows how residents of this region organized their year and planned their daily work.
