天王洲Central Tower

Tennōzu Central Tower is a modern office building on Tennōzu Island standing 170 meters tall with a distinctive rectangular form featuring curved edges. The 27-story structure holds offices, conference facilities, and retail spaces organized around a central core.

The building was completed in 1996 as part of the Tennōzu Island development project, marking the transformation of this former industrial waterfront area. Its completion marked a milestone in reshaping the district from a manufacturing center to a modern business hub.

The tower reflects contemporary Japanese design principles and combines function with elements that echo the maritime setting of the island. The architecture shows how modern buildings integrate into historically industrial areas.

The tower is located near Tennōzu Isle Station and is easily accessible by public transportation. Note that the building consists primarily of office space, and public access is generally limited to the ground floor and lower levels.

The structure incorporates a rainwater harvesting system and advanced seismic protection methods designed for Tokyo's earthquake-prone region. These engineering features are embedded in the construction, though not immediately apparent to casual observers.
