Shinagawa Intercity is a complex of three towers located in Kōnan, rising directly next to the railway station. The buildings house office spaces, shops, and restaurants that serve the surrounding business district.
The complex was developed during the 1990s as part of Tokyo's railway station area redevelopment and completed with initial openings in 1998. The three towers were designed by Nihon Sekkei according to contemporary architectural principles.
The complex earned the BCS Prize in 1999, marking its contribution to Japanese architectural standards and contemporary urban development principles.
The location has direct access to the railway station and connects well to public transportation, including Shinkansen and Tokyo Monorail lines. The interior is easy to navigate and offers dining and shopping options all in one place.
