Komatsu-ji

Komatsu-ji stands among the mountains of Chikura, featuring traditional wooden architecture with ornate details and multiple ceremonial buildings throughout its grounds.

The temple maintains its original role as a spiritual center where people come to pray for safe labor, healthy children, and fertility through centuries.

Regular Buddhist ceremonies and prayer sessions take place at the temple, connecting the local community with traditional spiritual practices and rituals.

Visitors can reach the temple at Chikura-chou Onuki 1057 in Minamiboso City, with dedicated parking spaces available near the entrance.

The temple grounds display red and orange maple leaves from late November to early December, later than other regions due to Minamiboso's climate.
