Komatsu-ji

Komatsu-ji is a Buddhist temple nestled in the mountains of Chikura, featuring traditional wooden structures with intricate decorative elements and multiple ceremonial buildings dispersed across the grounds. The maple leaves on the temple grounds turn vibrant red and orange from late November through early December due to the local climate. This autumn display occurs later than in other regions, making the setting particularly striking during this seasonal window.
