Nissay Sapporo Building

Nissay Sapporo Building is a 23-story office tower rising nearly 100 meters in central Sapporo, containing office spaces and a four-story commercial section. The structure also features ground-floor dining and retail options alongside its corporate workspace.

The building stands where the former Sapporo No. 1 Joint Government Building once occupied the site, which Nissay Life Insurance acquired in 2000. This office tower replaced the earlier government administrative structure with a contemporary high-rise design.

The ground floor features Italian Cassina furniture and floral displays that blend international design with a Japanese corporate environment. This aesthetic creates a welcoming entry point that reflects the building's modern, globally-minded character.

The building connects to an underground walkway linking Sapporo and Odori stations, making it easy to access from public transport. Multiple entry points allow visitors to reach different sections of the tower without confusion.

The commercial section called noasis 3.4 houses medical clinics, international retailers, and dining options spread across multiple floors. This mix transforms the tower into a practical hub for everyday needs beyond standard office functions.
