Nōgata Tanio Art Museum

The Nogata Tanio Art Museum exhibits Japanese art collections through permanent installations and seasonal exhibitions in multiple gallery spaces throughout the building.

Founded in 1992, the Nogata Tanio Art Museum emerged as a central institution for preserving and displaying artistic works from the Fukuoka Prefecture region.

The museum organizes the annual Chikuhō Art Exhibition, which brings together local artists working in Western-style painting, Japanese painting, and printmaking techniques.

The museum welcomes visitors from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM with six parking spaces near the entrance and maintains separate ticket prices for adults, students, and children.

The facility maintains partnerships with nearby institutions including Yunemenity Nōgata, Nōgata City Library, and Nōgata Coal Memorial Museum to create cultural programming.
