Mitsui Bussan Building, Tokyo'da eski bina
The Mitsui Bussan Building was a skyscraper in Ōtemachi that served as headquarters for the major trading company Mitsui & Co. The structure defined the financial district's skyline with its modern design for many decades.
The building rose during Japan's postwar reconstruction period as the nation modernized its financial center. It was later demolished to make way for new developments in the ever-evolving business district.
Since the building no longer stands, visitors can only see the empty space where it once dominated the street or learn about its history from local information about the area. The Ōtemachi district is easily accessible by public transportation and offers many other office buildings and financial institutions to explore nearby.
